We'd Like to Introduce this Year's Featured Speaker:
Tim Walker serves the Northwest Baptist Convention (NWBC) as Church Health Specialist and Region 4 Catalyst. Before joining the NWBC team, Tim served in Pastoral Ministry for over 31 years as Youth Pastor, Worship & Discipleship Pastor, Lead Pastor and Church Planter in East Texas, Northwest Louisiana, Western Washington and Eastern Washington.
Tim earned an Associate's Degree from Wyoming Technical Institute in Automotive Mechanics and Business Management. A Bachelor's
in Business and Religion from East Texas Baptist University. And a Master's of Divinity from Gateway Seminary, and a Doctorate of Education from George Fox University. Tim additionally serves as an adjunct professor with Gateway Seminary, teaches internationally, and volunteers locally as a police/fire
chaplain. His life passion is for the transformation that comes from a fellowship of relationship with Jesus Christ, through the tension of grace and
truth, within the church and her leaders.
Tim and his wife Rebecca, married in 1993, have nine kids and four grandkids. The Walkers came to make the Pacific Northwest their home in 2000 and have a passion to see God's Kingdom come here as it is in Heaven. Adopting a family motto of "Safety Fourth", the Walkers strive to do life, ministry, and
adventure in places, relationships, and conversations that require Joshua 1:9 encouragement.
